Dr. Kevin Becker is a clinical psychologist who has specialized in trauma and crisis intervention for 15 years. He is a Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry in Harvard Medical School's Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Becker also serves as Director of the Institute for Trauma & Crisis, a division of the Continuing Education Program Inc., at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He organized and participated in responses following the September 11th attacks, the 2004 South Asia tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and the Pakistan earthquake. He is the former director of the Trauma Center in Boston, an international research and treatment facility. He was founding chairperson of the Massachusetts Disaster Response Network for the Mass. Psychological Association, and he was formerly a Vice President with Marsh Crisis Consulting, part of Marsh USA. He advises public and private organizations on how best to prepare for crisis and provide effective responses for their employees and other stakeholders.

Dr. Sapirstein is a psychologist, consultant and facilitator who has specialized in the field of psychological stress and trauma for the past 15 years. A senior and partner of ORI Consulting, Dr. Sapirstein has consulted to companies on leadership and team building as well as coping with crisis and change. Additionally, he has promoted the model of the town-hall meeting called EVOLOGUE™ to encourage social and cultural problem solving through a facilitated group process. Through the model of Human Impact Planning™ he facilitates strategic planning by organizations to care for employees and other stakeholders during times of crisis and change. Following the events of September 11, 2001 Dr. Sapirstein consulted to employees, agencies and families of first responders directly affected by the attacks. In addition he facilitated debriefings of school administrators who were responsible for the pupils that were attending schools during that time. Hurricane Katrina in 2005 brought Dr. Sapirstein to the gulf coast of the US where he has been consulting to companies and employees in Mississippi, New Orleans and with people displaced to Dallas and Phoenix. In Pakistan, following the October 8th, 2005 earthquake he helped to train local frontline professionals, paraprofessionals and administrators on the treatment of trauma following large scale disasters such as the recent earthquake which has left 3 million people homeless.
Dr. Sapirstein has presented at national and international conferences on the topic of trauma and its aftermath and has published scientific articles.

Jeffrey has over fifteen years of experience in the field of traumatic stress and disaster response and is a senior partner of ORI Consulting. He received his Masters degree in Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, NH and has been a supervisor at The Trauma Center in Boston since 1999. Jeffrey has provided training and consultation throughout the U.S. and Europe on issues related to trauma and stress and has worked with corporate and governmental organizations following varying degrees of crisis including workplace violence incidents, mergers and acquisitions, acts of terrorism including New York after 9/11 and natural disasters including hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He has worked with numerous and diverse groups including police, fire and other first responders, court personnel, school systems, federal law enforcement, corporate and manufacturing industries.
